DWI HIT PARADE: Pills and booze make the deal for Brandy Ann Hinskton great road trip in Maryland

WALDORF, MD. – Add this driver to the list of those who allegedly take to the public highways with a snoot full of booze or their system complicated by drugs – and in many cases both – without regard for the safety or lives of others.

The Maryland State Police in LaPlata reports that on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at approximately at 1:24 am, TFC M. Zentkovich conducted a traffic stop on a gold Nissan Altima for the driver using a cell phone on southbound Route 301 north of Vernon Road, Waldorf, Charles County, Md. Upon making contact with the operator, Brandy Ann Hinskton, 34, and presently a resident of 2640 Hamilton Place, Apt. 103, Waldorf, Md., TFC Zentkovich detected a sign of alcohol impairment.

Brandy Ann Hinkston booked on drug and DUI charges in the Charles County, Md., Jail.

Hinskton failed the field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI.

Police say that a search incident to arrest revealed white pills identified as suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride, a Schedule II Narcotic. Hinskton was transported to the Charles County jail for processing and charged with CDS- Not Marijuana) CR 5-601 (A1) for the Oxycodone Hydrochloride, a Schedule II Narcotic.

Hinskton has a trial date set for Dec. 4, 2018, in Charles County District Court.

Brian Bruce Heckmann Jr. was arrested by Maryland State Trooper E. West on drug charges on Aug. 6, 2013, as well as driving while revoked and without a permit. In a plea deal on Sept. 3, 2013, with Calvert County States Attorney Laura Martin in Circuit Court for Calvert County, all of the charges were put on the Stet Docket.

Heckmann, while residing at 75 Mountain Trail in Prince Frederick, Md., was arrested by Maryland State Trooper R. Cavill and charged with DWI while operating a 2005 Pontiac on Rt. 4 at Governors Run Road. In a plea deal with Calvert States Attorney Laura Martin, Heckmann entered a guilty plea on March 24, 2010. THE DEAL: 20 days in jail with all of the jail time suspended and ZERO fine. On March 8, 2011, Heckmann was charged with violating his probation and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.
