PRIOR DWI OFFENDER

Tetyana-Ivanivna-Palm-age-54-of-Callaway-by-Dep.-Graves-DUI-Jan.-1-2020

Tetyana Ivanivna Palm, 54, (DOB 06/15/1965) of 20925 Aster Drive, Callaway, Md., arrested for DUI by St. Mary’s Sheriff Dep. Michael Graves, on Jan. 1, 2020 at 6:46 pm as she operated a 2016 Hyundai on Rt. 5 at Aster Drive in Callaway. Palm has hired the services of David Weigel of Dugan, McKissick & Longmore in Lexington Park, Md., for trial in District Court on March 4, 2020.

Palm was arrested on Oct. 5, 2011, for DWI while operating a 2005 Toyota on Point Lookout Road in Callaway by St. Mary’s Deputy Foor. In a plea deal engineered by her attorney, Shane Mattingly, of Leonardtown with State’s Attorney Richard Fritz in District Court, Palm entered a guilty plea. THE DEAL: Palm was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with ten days in jail and all of the jail time suspended.  Palm was fined $185.00 as part of the deal.

PRIOR DWI OFFENDER

Alyssa Michelle Coster, 33, (DOB 07/23/1986) of 23510 FDR Blvd., Unit 402, California, Md., was arrested on Jan. 15, 2020 for DUI for a violation that occurred on Oct. 3, 2019, at 11:41 pm, by St. Mary’s Deputy Travis Wimberly.  Coster is represented by Leonardtown attorney John S. Weiner for trial in District Court on March 24, 2020.  Coster was operating a 2012 Jeep on Chancellors Run Road at the time of her arrest.

Alyssa Coster was charged with DWI by Maryland State Trooper Brandy Ditoto on May 22, 2018, at 12:48 am. In a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on Sept. 21, 2018, Coster entered a guilty plea. THE DEAL: Coster was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with thirty days in jail with all of the jail time suspended, no fine and eighteen months of unsupervised probation. Coster was represented by Rais Jaleel Akbar of the public defender’s office, provided free of charge by the taxpayers of Maryland.

PRIOR DWI OFFENDER

Carol Anne Franz, 51, of 23051 Shoreside Place, Apt. 305, California, Md., arrested for DUI on Jan. 19, 2020, at 11:30 am, by St. Mary’s County Sheriff Dep. Diane Hersh. According to court records, Franz was operating a 2012 KIA on Three Notch Road in California, Md., when she was stopped by Deputy Kersh and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and or alcohol. The Gunslinger Lawyer – Kevin J. McDevitt is her attorney at trial on March 18, 2020, and has an uphill battle to keep her out of the slammer when she got off easy on her last arrest. Most DWI drivers drive while intoxicated 300 times before they are caught.

Carol Anne Franz was arrested for DWI by St. Mary’s Sheriff Deputy Joe Labrack on Sept. 1, 2008, as she operated a 2001 Honda in the parking lot of Wildewood Shopping Center at Three Notch Road in Hollywood, Md.  In a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on March 6, 2009, Franz entered a guilty plea to DWI. THE DEAL: a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with no jail time and a fine of only $192.50.

PRIOR DWI OFFENDER

Donna-Marie-Knott-age-64-of-Hollywood-arrested-for-DUI-on-Jan.-21-2020-by-St.-Marys-County-Sheriffs-Cpl.-Lefave.

Donna Marie Knott, 64, (DOB 08/25/1955) of 44334 Forest Landing Road, Hollywood, Md., arrested for DUI on Jan. 21, 2020, by St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Cpl. S. Lefave at 1:47 am, just about the time the bars close. Knott was piloting a 2009 GMC on Chancellors Run Road near Pegg Road in Great Mills when she was sidelined by Cpl. Lefave.  The taxpayers of Maryland are providing her a free attorney for her trial on Feb. 27, 2020 in St. Mary’s District Court – which may enhance the odds of her doing some time in jail.

DONNA MARIE KNOTT entered a guilty plea to DWI on Jan. 19, 2007 in St. Mary’s District Court in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. Knott was arrested by St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Shaun Carberry on Sept. 28, 2006, as she drove a 1996 Acura on Coles Drive and Peninsula Drive in Hollywood Shores. THE DEAL: A verdict of Probation Before Judgement with no fine and no time.

Kristen Michelle Taylor, (DOB 11/17/1989) 30, of 45728 Military Lane, Great Mills, Md., was arrested for DUI on Jan. 27, 2020, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Cpl. Dale Reppel. Taylor has hired a different lawyer for her newest DWI arrest which took place on Jan. 26, 2020 at 11:26 pm.  LaPlata attorney Hammad Matin will represent Taylor with the tough assignment of explaining why his client failed to learn from her prior plea deal when the trial in District Court takes place on March 18, 2020.

KRISTEN MICHELLE TAYLOR didn’t learn too much from her prior DWI arrest on Dec. 13, 2016, when she was arrested by Maryland State Trooper Regina for DWI, negligent driving, and cited for failing to show her registration card to an officer. Taylor was stopped on MacArthur Blvd. while operating a 2007 Honda. After hiring the Gunslinger Lawyer, Kevin J. McDevitt, of Leonardtown, Taylor got a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz and pleaded guilty to reckless and negligent driving. THE DEAL. The DWI charge was dropped and resulted in no fine and no time.

Damion Juanidas Somerville, 43, (DOB 08/31/1976) of 24560 Rudy’s Lane, Loveville, Md., was arrested for DUI on Jan. 30, 2020, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Dep. Warren Forinash at 2:06 am.  Somerville has signed up for a free attorney provided by the hapless taxpayers of Maryland for his trial on March 4, 2020, in St. Mary’s District Court.  Deputy Forinash stopped Somerville as he drove a 2006 Scion on Great Mills Road at Jay Dee Court.

DAMION JUNAIDAS SOMERVILLE was arrested by Maryland State Trooper Terry Roberson on Sept. 7, 2003, and charged with DWI when he was stopped by the trooper as he drove a 1992 Lincoln southbound on Rt. 235 at St. John’s Road in Hollywood, Md.  In a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on Nov. 7, 2003, Somerville entered a guilty plea to DWI. THE DEAL: Somerville was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with no fine and no time.

James Errick Barnes, 48, (DOB 06/08/1971) of Lexington Park, Md., was arrested for DWI on Feb. 10, 2020, by Cpl. Ruest.

James Errick Barnes was arrested for DWI on Sept. 6, 1999, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Young entered a guilty plea to DWI on Dec. 14, 1999, with attorney John Bailey of Leonardtown, representing him in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. THE DEAL: A verdict of Probation Before Judgement with a fine of $205.00 and no time.

Rebecca Sue Nicholson, 27, (DOB 06/11/1992) of 21731 Garfield Street, Great Mills, Md., arrested for DUI by St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department Dep. Warren Forinash on Jan. 26, 2020 at 12:30 am as she traveled on Md. Rt. 235 (Three Notch Road) at Buck Hewitt Road in a 2018 Toyota RAV4. Nicholson has hired the Gunslinger Lawyer, Kevin J. McDevitt to be her mouthpiece in making a good plea deal in District Court on April 17, 2020.

Sandra Jeanette (Thomas) Shulzitski, 35, (DOB 05/07/1984) of 5402 Illinois Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. arrested for DWI on Jan. 29, 2020 by St. Mary’s Sheriff Department Cpl. Lafave.

Chicchina Evelyn Bailey, 63, (DOB 04/14/1956) of 45271 Elkton Lane, California, Md., arrested for DUI on Jan. 31, 2020, by St. Mary’s County Sheriff Department Deputy First Class Dale Smith, at 8:17 pm as Bailey operated a 2001 Buick Lacrosse on Three Notch Road. Bailey’s court date is April 29, 2020.

Bryon Michael Bishop, 22 (DOB 12/03/1997) of 22495 Armstrong Drive, Leonardtown, Md., was arrested for DUI on Jan. 16, 2020, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Cpl. Chad Hartzell. Bishop was operating a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, tag no. 155326T on Morgan Road at Hollywood Road (Rt. 245) near Hollywood, Md., at 3:48 pm. Bishop was also cited for other traffic charges including negligent operation with careless disregard for property, life and person.

Bryon Michael Bishop entered a guilty plea to felony burglary on Oct. 12, 2018 in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz in St. Mary’s Circuit Court on Oct. 12, 2018. THE DEAL: Bishop was given a sentence of four years in prison with all of the time suspended to eighteen months to enable him from being placed in the Maryland Correctional System and instead serve his time in the local St. Mary’s County Jail which is a relative country club setting. An arrest warrant was issued for Bishop on Jan. 24, 2020 when court records show he allegedly violated the terms of his probation.  A certificate of eligibility for a free public defender has been issued with an appearance filed in the case of a prior assault conviction, as of Feb. 11, 2020.  With an indictment issued by the St. Mary’s County Grand Jury for twelve criminal counts of DWI, Home Invasion, use of a firearm in a violent crime, robbery, armed robbery and a general all-around failure to do good, Bishop has a court appearance set for April 22, 2020 in St. Mary’s Circuit Court with a bail bond hearing scheduled for Feb. 5, 2020 continued.  In addition to the free attorney paid for by the taxpayers of Maryland, attorney Bradley Warby of Upper Marlboro is listed on the newest criminal charges as Bishop’s attorney.

Thomas Lee Campbell, 3333, (DOB 01/11/1987) of 1337 South Bancroft Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania arrested for DUI on Feb. 1, 2020, by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Dep. David Lawrence as he operated a 2014 Mercury on Rt. 4 at Indian Bridge Road, in Leonardtown, Md.  Campbell was also cited, for negligent driving, and for failing to control his speed to avoid a collision.
