Not enough for a junkie to snort for an inhaling overdose – yetDUMFRIES, VA. – Prince William Police report that on July 2 at 4:08 AM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries to investigate a burglary. Overnight employees reported to police that an unknown male was seen walking around the store while the business was closed. When officers arrived, they located the accused incapacitated outside the store. Further investigation revealed that the accused entered the store through a narrow opening and stole several cans of air cleaner that he proceeded to inhale. The accused then exited the store and laid down outside the store where officers eventually located him. The accused was detained and transported to a local hospital as a precaution. Jannie Carlitta Mott wouldn’t let toddler in the houseDUMFRIES, VA. – Not going to be the mother of the year. Police in Prince William County on July 1 at 5:17 PM, officers responded to the 17600 block of Hampstead Ridge Ct in Dumfries to investigate a disorderly. When officers arrived, the caller reported to police that a 3-year-old boy was seen outside of his home crying and banging on the front door for allegedly approximately 25 to 30 minutes in the extreme heat. A resident of the home eventually opened the door and the child went inside. When the caller attempted to make contact with a resident of the home, a parent eventually opened the door and was involved in a verbal altercation with the caller. Following the altercation, the caller contacted police. Following the investigation, the mother, identified as Jannie Carlitta MOTT, was arrested. Prince William County Police report that on July 1, 2018, at 4:24 AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 9900 block of Shallow Creek Lane in Manassas to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the residence through an unsecured front door. A resident confronted the suspect and detained him until officers arrived. Peeping Meth-Head Miles Decided He Owned the Hotel
MANASSAS, VA.– Meth makes the world go round. On June 30 at 3:18 AM, officers responded to the Wyndham Garden hotel located at 10800 Vandor Ln. in Manassas, Va., to investigate a disorderly person. Hotel employees reported to police that an unknown man had damaged several doors within the hotel and removed the peepholes to multiple occupied rooms. Officers located the accused on the fourth floor of the hotel inside of an unoccupied room that he had forced entry into and detained him without incident. Upon further investigation, officers determined the accused was under the influence of methamphetamine, which was located in his pocket following a search after his arrest. Bad, Bad, LeRoy Brown, the Baddest Man in the Whole Damn TownTRIANGLE, VA.– This guy has been watching too many bad TV shows. Prince William police report that on June 30 at 3:02 AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance while driving to an apartment in Dumfries. When the two arrived at their destination, the victim retrieved their 7-month-old child from the apartment and returned to the vehicle. When the victim returned, the argument continued and escalated physically. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and threw her cell phone to the ground, damaging it. The accused then took the child from the victim and drove away, leaving the victim behind. The victim contacted police and provided a description of the vehicle the accused was driving. A responding officer located the vehicle in the area of Dumfries Rd and Jefferson Davis Hwy and stopped the vehicle. While the officer was approaching the vehicle, the accused drove away at a high rate of speed with the juvenile still inside. The officer followed the vehicle until it went through a red light on Jefferson Davis Hwy at Wayside Dr at which point the officer lost sight of the vehicle. Following the investigation, an officer obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused who was eventually located at his residence in Woodbridge later that evening and arrested without incident. The Cat Burglar Who Forgot the CatMANASSAS, VA., – On June 30 at 2:39 AM, officers responded to the 7900 block of Lomond Ct in Manassas, Va., to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the residence through an unsecured window or door. The suspect was confronted by a resident who immediately contacted police. A responding officer located the suspect as he was leaving the residence and detained him without incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. Arrested on June 30, 2018.
