SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO OF CRASH INTO BOWLING ALLEY

WALDORF, MD. – Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry reports that Detectives Identify and Arrest Suspect in Kidnapping and Robbery Case / Victim’s Car Still Missing: On December 14, 2019, County Sheriff’s detectives charged Marc Christopher Brown Jr., 26, (DOB 03/25/1993) of 8207 Rison Drive, Brandywine, Md., and more recently hanging around as a hobo and bum in Waldorf, in connection with the December 11th  kidnapping and robbery of a Waldorf woman.

Police say that Brown broke into the victim’s residence through a window and was in the process of burglarizing her home when the victim entered her house.

Brown confronted the victim, bound her hands and then forced her into her car. He drove the victim to various ATMs throughout the county and attempted to withdraw money from her account. After a long period of time, Brown left the victim in an isolated area of Accokeek. A passerby observed her walking in the roadway – barefoot and her hands tied together – and called police.

Detectives worked closely with the victim throughout the day and night. Through their extensive investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and link him to the kidnapping as well as the burglary of the Waldorf AMF bowling alley. Brown has been charged with kidnapping, robbery, first-degree assault, home invasion and other related charges. He is being held with no bond at the Charles County Detention Center.

Marc Christopher Brown Jr. was convicted of robbery following his indictment by the Prince Georges County Grand Jury.  In Prince George’s Circuit Court before Judge Mason, Brown was sentenced to 15 years in prison with all but five years suspended on Count 1 – Robbery, on Feb. 10, 2017.  The sentence was ordered to commence as of Nov. 11, 2016, giving him credit for 83 days of time served. Probation was ordered for three years and the remaining counts were dropped by PG County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks – one of the most lenient prosecutors in one of the most violent crime counties of Maryland – until 2018 when she was elected County Executive.  On Jan. 26, 2018, Judge Karen Mason ordered the prior sentence stricken and imposed a new sentence of 15 years with all but 4 years suspended and credit is given for 433 days credit for time served.

Proving herself to be a world-class idiot, Judge MASON ordered the prior sentence from Jan. 26, 2018 stricken and further reduced the sentence to 15 years with all but 42 months suspended and credit is given for time served of two years and 165 days.

THEREIN is the reason that Marc Christopher Brown Jr. had the freedom to allegedly burglarize the home of the female victim, terrorize her, rob her, kidnap her and dump her on a rural road, barefoot on a cold night, at 3 am and then with her stolen car – which she undoubtedly has worked hard to purchase and maintain – used it to bash in the front of the Waldorf Bowling Alley.  GOOD WORK JUDGE MASON!

CRIME TOWN KIDNAPPING: Waldorf woman snatched from her home to make cash stops at ATMs and then dumped on a rural roadway at 3 am; police seek foul miscreant and victim’s damaged stolen car

WALDORF, MD. – When a woman returned home from work on Dec. 11, 2019, she became Waldorf’s newest crime victim – at the hands of a man who presumably doesn’t work and preys on women who do.

The video of the front doors of the Bowling alley being smashed by the car clearly shows why Wawa and many other businesses erect concrete bollards in front of the doorways of their stores.

Charles County Sheriff Spokeswoman Diane Richardson reports that the female citizen entered her home to find a burglar had broken his way inside and then forced her to return to her car and began to make the circuit of local ATM machines, looting the unfortunate woman’s bank account, time after time. When the damnable criminal had no further use for the victim, presumably harvesting her access to her bank card – he dumped her in the area of Accokeek Road near Gardiner Road in Prince George’s County, Md.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Prince George’s County Police officers responded to a report of a woman walking in the roadway at about 3:37 am and discovered the victim who related the events of the night to them.

The criminal rammed the victim’s car into the front doors of the Waldorf AMF bowling alley on Acton Lane and alighted from the stolen and damaged vehicle, walked toward the ATM inside the business but left after realizing the ATM was not operable.  A video provided by police reveals he must have seen a sign on the ATM that proclaimed it was out of order.

The video shows that the creepy kidnapper who purloined the victim’s money and her car then left and still has not been apprehended.

The CCSO is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect and locating the victim’s car.

The suspect is described as a male, likely a black male with a light complexion, between 20-30 years old, approximately 5’8” with a medium build. His face was covered, likely to prevent the victim from learning that he was a lazy oaf, who does not work and lives nearby where he likely is a parasite who victimizes the employed female members of his family who support him.

The victim’s vehicle is a 2010 black four-door Toyota Camry with Maryland registration plates 6BM 3802; it has damage to the rear of the car.
