MURDER USA: PAIR OF PARK PUNKS WITH A CAPITAL “P”; Delonte Holley and Tyrell Birdine In Slammer After Trying to Kill Good Samaritan That Interfered to Save Woman From Their Beatdown

LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on Sept. 13, 2020, shortly after midnight, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the River Bay community in Lexington Park for the report of an assault.

The miscreants had beat feet when deputies arrived on scene.

A short time later, Maryland State Police stopped a speeding vehicle in California.

The female operator advised law enforcement that a 63-year-old male victim from Callaway was assaulted in River Bay, a townhouse community just off of Great Mills Road and Rt. 5 in Great Mills, Md.

Police say that victim in the woman’s car was found suffering from traumatic injuries and he was removed from the vehicle to begin lifesaving measures including CPR.

The victim was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown and then transferred to an area trauma center in critical condition.

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigations Division Detectives responded and assumed the investigation, which determined that the victim was a passenger in a vehicle in the River Bay community when the victim observed two male subjects in an altercation with a female. The victim told the men to leave the woman alone or the police would be called.

The two male suspects, identified as Tyrell Birdine and Delante Holley, then dragged the victim out of the vehicle and began violently beating and assaulting the victim. The suspects also struck the victim’s windshield, which shattered. The suspects put the victim back into the victim’s vehicle and then fled the area.

Sheriff Cameron says that Delante Javon Holley, 28 (DOB 03/20/1992) of103 Castaway Circle #103 Lexington Park, Md., and Tyrell Marquice Birdine, 20 (DOB 08/30/2000) of 22176 Chancellors Run Road, Lexington Park, Md.  Both of these alleged wanna-be killers are being held without bond and will get what is coming to them as they are being represented by free attorneys provided by the taxpayers of Maryland and will surely do hard time, which, if convicted of this horrible beat-down, they deserve many long years of getting their butts kicked by Bubba in the Maryland prison system.

Both alleged would-be killers were arrested by Detective Melissa Hulse and charged with felony Attempted Murder, felony First-Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault, and Malicious Destruction of Property.

Proving that a lack of common sense, any worldly considerations of legal actions, and having no fear of accountability in the future, a woman with one less brain cell than a frog tried to spring one of the alleged culprits from the back of the police car.  Kanisha Denise Butler, 20 of Lexington Park, attempted to remove Birdine from the back of a patrol vehicle. She was arrested and charged with Hindering.

DO THEY JUST LIKE TO BEAT UP WOMEN AND OLD MEN?

Anyone who may have witnessed the crime and has not already spoken with law enforcement is asked to call Detective Cpl. Melissa Green at 301-475-4200, ext. 71996 or email melissa.green@stmarysmd.com.

Birdine was the subject of a domestic violence peace order on July 15, 2020 which was filed against him in St. Mary’s District Court. The order was dismissed with the petitioner failed to appear in court.

Another peace order was obtained and issued against Birdine on May 28, 2019, ordering him to stay away from a victim, the victim’s residence, place of employment and to not contact in any way.

On March 26, 2019, Birdine entered a guilty plea to resisting arrest in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. THE DEAL: Birdine was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 66 days suspended, and charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct were dropped.  Fritz, after filing first-degree assault charges and several firearms charges in a criminal information in St. Mary’s Circuit Court, on Sept. 20, 2018, dropped all the charges on November 28, 2018.

Delante Holley was locked up by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Deputy S. Lefave on Sept. 1, 2020, for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct and promptly released from the hoosegow on an unsecured bond, which means he didn’t even have to post his favorite sneakers as bail. With minor charges and pursuit of his rooster dues to a baby mama as his primary contact with the courts, this is the first big-time adventure for Holley that will gain him fame and perhaps some sports paraphernalia endorsements.
