Crosby soared past squeaky status as those honest-to-God honest Mail-In ballots were counted.
Trone, who bought the election with his big money bags in self-funding in 2020, was running behind Neil Parrott for the 6th District Congressional seat. Now Trone unbottled enough mail-in ballots to keep the seat in Congress.
“We’re on a path to win,” Neil Parrott told supporters on election night. “We took on the 12 Million Dollar Man, who just wrote himself a check — and we did it with about $700,000.”
On Nov. 11, 2022, Parrott conceded to Trone after mail-in ballots zoomed Trone into the lead and Parrott says he can’t catch up.
Parrott Concedes Election
Washington County –Based on the vote-by-mail ballots that are still to be counted and the trends in vote-by-mail results, Delegate Neil Parrott has conceded the election. He just called Congressman David Trone and congratulated him on his victory.
Even so, Delegate Parrott believes that the actions over the last year are a big victory for the people of Western and Central Maryland. The “extreme partisan gerrymander”[1] has been corrected, and now like-minded communities have a real say in who they pick for US Congress in District 6 and across the state.
Delegate Parrott said, “I am incredibly grateful for everyone who worked with my family and me on the campaign trail. We have developed many close friendships that we value greatly.”
He went on to say that, “While this wasn’t the outcome we wanted, it isn’t a defeat and it isn’t the end. We unified the Republican Party in western Maryland. We faced an overwhelming spending disadvantage that scared off national Republicans. We fought – and won – in court so that this district is fair and competitive and the people of the sixth district will never be taken for granted again.”
Roscoe Bartlett held the Western Maryland congressional district for more than twenty years and the only way the Democrats could beat him was to Gerrymander the district in the 2010 census and include Montgomery County in the district composed of the western counties in Maryland’s panhandle. U. S. Rep.Barlett served from 1993 until 2013.

Ballot Harvesting paid off for Crooked Democrats as one week after election day; the Dems found enough ballots to beat Jessica Haire and keep Pittman in charge of patronage in Anne Arundel.
