POT FACTORY INSIDE BAMBOOZLE
Eric Dickerson Sentenced to Prison for Stealing $100 Gs of Cannabis
LEONARDTOWN, MD (August 19, 2024) – Story Cannabis, which operates the Pot Factory in Abell, Maryland, which was approved by the numbskulls on the Board of the St. Mary’s County Commissioners which allowed the facility to be located in a Critical Area in the middle of a residential area, hired a career criminal to work as a janitor.
After Eric Dwayne Dickerson carried out nearly a hundred grand of pot produced in the Pot Factory, he was arrested and now he’s going to be back in prison.
What kind of bozos running the nefarious stinky weed joint hires a guy who was convicted of armed robbery along with many drug offences? Dickerson fit right in at the Pot Factory.

WHO IS TAKING CARE OF THE CARETAKER’S DAUGHTER WHILE THE CARETAKER IS BUSY TAKING CARE
“The Defendant leveraged his position of trust and with a nefarious purpose, removed large amounts of cannabis, concealed it into trash bags, and ultimately stole the large haul. What elevates the ugliness factor of this crime is the stolen items are controlled dangerous substances,” said State’s Attorney Sterling. “This cannabis could have contributed to broader illegal drug distribution and criminal activity. We must hold all individuals accountable at every level for the safety of our community.”
Dickerson was found guilty of felony theft and although the Maryland Sentencing Guidelines called for a sentence between six months and five years, the State requested the Court sentence the Defendant to 10 years in prison.
Dickerson pleaded guilty of armed robbery in St. Mary’s Circuit Court following his arrest by Deputy David Yingling on December 13, 2002. St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz gave Dickerson a plea deal on September 22, 2023, in a trial presided over by Circuit Court Judge Marvin Kaminetz, who sentenced Dickerson to nine years in prison. Dickerson was given 283 days credit for time served prior to trial.
In a plea deal with Fritz when facing jail time for a theft charge, Dickerson pleaded guilty, and Circuit Court Judge John Hanson Briscoe sentenced Dickerson to the Hotel St. Mary’s for eighteen months on Sept. 15, 2000.
THE ROOSTER OF ABELL
When Dickerson hasn’t been busy in criminal activity, he has sired offspring in his starring role as the Rooster of Abell and on September 3, 2016 a judgement for back child support was entered against him by the St. Mary’s County Department of Social Services in the amount of $20,130.15.
Circuit Court Judge Michael J. Stamm sentenced Dickerson to serve eight years in the Maryland Division of Corrections, significantly above the six months to five years guideline range, and additionally ordered the Defendant to pay $99,480 of restitution, which was executed as a civil judgment. Fat chance that will happen.
Senior Assistant State’s Attorney Lisa Ridge, Chief of Narcotics, prosecuted the case on behalf of the citizens of St. Mary’s County.
Deputy Christopher Truss of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office was the lead investigator with the assistance of the Criminal Investigations Division, Vice/Narcotics Unit.
