MONTGOMERY COUNTY POLICE BEAT: Cool Cat with Shades Wanted in Heist of 7-Eleven

GERMANTOWN, MD. – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the October 4th armed robbery of the 7-Eleven convenience store in Germantown, Md.

Unable to get a handle on who this alleged dirtbag is, police say that investigators are releasing a surveillance photograph of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at approximately 2:31 a.m., 5th District Montgomery County Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 12301 Middlebrook Road for the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The investigation by detectives revealed that an adult male employee was behind the counter when the suspect entered the store.  The suspect approached the employee, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the registers.  The suspect obtained currency from the business and fled.
