Attack on America: radical Islamic terrorists flew two hijacked jets into the twin towers of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, and killed nearly 3,000 people while two other hijacked jetliners were crashed; one into the Pentagon and the other into a field in Pennsylvania.
