PRINCE WILLIAM POLICE NEWS BEAT: Eduardo Acosta Guillen charged with child sex assault and sodomy

MANASSAS, VA. – Prince William Police report that on October 8 at 11:08PM, officers responded to a residence located in the Manassas area of Prince William County to investigate a sexual assault.

Police say that the victim, a 12-year-old girl, was inside the residence when her mother observed an acquaintance, identified as the accused, touching her inappropriately. The mother immediately separated the parties and notified the police. Detectives with the Special Victims Unit responded and determined that the victim was sexually assaulted on more than one occasion between September 5 and October 8. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eduardo ACOSTA GUILLEN, was arrested on October 8, 2020:

Charged with aggravated sexual battery and sodomy

MANASSAS, VA. – Prince William County Police report that on October 8 at 4:30 PM, officers responded to the area of Leland Ave. and Lake Dr. in Manassas, Va., to investigate an assault.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. The two men were involved in a physical altercation that escalated when the accused stabbed the victim with a knife.

At some point, say police, an acquaintance intervened, separated the men, and then drove the victim to an area hospital where police were notified. While investigating, officers located the accused at his residence and detained him without incident. The victim reported significant injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Kenneth Lee Franklin JAMERSON, was arrested.

Arrested on October 8, 2020:

Kenneth Lee Franklin JAMERSON, 40, of the 7800 block of Lake Dr. in Manassas

  • Charged with malicious wounding

Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Jamerson was found guilty of animal cruelty on May 9, 2013, in Prince William Circuit Court and sentenced to one year in jail with all but five days suspended.

THREE MEN and a Child…and a gun…and drugs…

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – Prince William County Police report that on October 6, 2020, at 10:39 PM, officers were patrolling the 15000 block of Sunny Ridge Ct, in Woodbridge when they encountered two men standing near a vehicle. Upon approaching the men, officers observed one of the men with a firearm in his hand.

Officers detained both men without incident. Police say that while investigating, officers observed an open door to the vehicle and located an additional man inside, who was also detained.

The investigation revealed, one of the men was caring for his son, a 19-month-old child, who was located inside the vehicle. During the investigation, a firearm and suspected illegal narcotics were also observed inside the vehicle. The child was unharmed and turned over to a family member. Following the investigation, the three men involved were arrested on October 6, 2020:
