EXCLUSIVE: Loudoun Schools Did Not Record Multiple Alleged Sexual Assaults Over A Period Of Years Despite State Law, Records Show
Loudoun County Public Schools did not record multiple known incidents of alleged sexual assault in schools dating back several years, despite a law that requires statistics about school safety incidents to be reported to the public and which includes provisions holding school superintendents personally liable for violations, a Daily Wire review of public records found.
After The Daily Wire raised the discrepancy with the Virginia Department of Education, DOE spokesman Charles Pyle said that “VDOE is reviewing the discipline, crime and violence data submissions of Loudoun County Public Schools and is in communication with LCPS to determine whether the division’s reporting is accurate and whether the division is in compliance with state and federal law.”
The same law could have implications for a Loudoun superintendent or principal in the wake of a May 28 alleged sexual assault in a bathroom — an incident first reported by The Daily Wire Monday. On June 22, Superintendent Scott Ziegler told the public, “To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.” MORE

FATHER OF GIRL WHO WAS ATTACKED WAS TACKLED AND ARRESTED WHEN HE TRIED TO PROTEST AT SCHOOL BOARD MEETING IN JUNE
The father of another girl who was sexually assaulted in another school said in an interview on Fox News Channel that the suspect is the same teenager who wore a dress in a girl’s bathroom and assaulted his daughter.
The Loudoun County School Board has been under fire from parents who are upset over the transgender policies that are being forced into Loudoun Schools. Under direct questioning by a school board member about the sex assaults, the school superintendent denied such assaults had taken place.
When Scott Smith attempted to demand answers from the Loudoun School Board on June 22, 2021, over why they were covering up the fact that the boy who assaulted his daughter had worn a skirt into the girl’s restroom, he was arrested when the School Board refused to let him talk at the meeting.
In an investigation, the Daily Wire reporter Luke Rosiak reported that Juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio, related to an incident that day at that school.
