ELECTION 2022: DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE WES MOORE THINKS HE IS RUNNING AGAINST LARRY HOGAN!

PREDICTION: Be prepared to see less of Wes, not more Moore

LEXINGTON PARK, MD: Heralding the arrival of a candidate who had never been heard of before, a coffee shop in Lexington Park was on the tour for one more of the smattering of candidates in the Democratic Primary for Maryland Governor. The rules laid down for meeting the candidate, Wes Moore, were about the most stringent possible since the Covid hysteria took over Maryland in 2020. The mandates of all mandates were in full force.

LESS OF A CROWD IS BEST FOR WES MOORE CAMPAIGN THAT REQUIRES VAX PASSPORT TO BE IN HIS PRESENCE

The event for Wes Moore was held at a locally owned coffee shop in Lexington Park, ST. INNIES COFFEE.

Democratic candidate Wes Moore issued a press release following Governor Larry Hogan’s State of the State speech to the Maryland General Assembly.   Hogan renewed his call for accountability for Judges who fail to jail criminals and allow repeat offenders to have get out of jail free cards.   Moore blasted Hogan for blocking more money being sent to Prince Georges and Baltimore City. These two jurisdictions have been soaking up more tax funds more often than any other part of the state and yet have such poor results in the reading ability of high school students that taxpayers should be given refunds, and mass incarceration of corrupt officials of the two cesspools of crime should take place.

Wes Moore ignores the fact that Democrats have ruled Prince Georges County and the City of Baltimore for the eight years that Hogan has been Governor and for the last four decades. Larry Hogan is not running for office in 2022; as he stated recently, he decided not to seek the seat in the United States Senate this year. Wes Moore also ignores the push of Democrats across Maryland to defund police, demonize police, eliminate bail requirements and remove accountability for prosecutors.

WES MOORE TAKES ON HOGAN INSTEAD OF HIS DEMOCRAT OPPONENTS

“Let’s be clear about what the Governor is calling for when it comes to education — He is trying to block a historic investment in the Blueprint for Maryland’s families, which the legislature passed and passed again to override this Governor’s veto. The Governor is trying to strip $140 million in education funding – almost entirely from two majority Black jurisdictions, Baltimore City and Prince George’s County. This comes at a time when Maryland ranks 37th in the nation in unemployment, meaning we are failing to prepare Marylanders to step into good jobs and preventing them from being able to provide for themselves and their families.

“In addition to leaving our children behind, the Governor continues to fail to lead on public safety. Crime is not a Baltimore problem alone – it is a statewide problem that Governor Hogan has failed to lead on. Under the Governor’s watch over the last four years, 12 counties in Maryland have seen an increase in murders – that’s half the jurisdictions in this state. 14 counties have had an increase in rapes over the past four years. While the Governor has tried to pass the blame to municipal leaders, violent crime has risen across the state under his watch. Our local leaders need a partner, and that partnership has not been there.

“What the Governor said about public safety tonight is too little too late to address how violent crime has risen under his watch. We will not get out of this by tinkering with sentencing guidelines – after the crime has been committed. We need to fund proven community-based violence intervention programs. We need to ban ghost guns to help police trace and track perpetrators of violent crimes. We need to fix our broken parole and probation systems. We need to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the legislature and with municipal and community leaders to make our communities safer.”
